Meet Ed Carrie – Operations Manager 4ocean Haiti

September 11, 2019

The way Haiti is set up, the fact that it’s
so mountainous, all the trash ends up in the ocean. You know, we have beautiful
beaches, beautiful mountains, beautiful culture, but the amount of pollution is
just extremely high. So we’re down in Haiti and we’re hosting a 4Ocean
beach cleanup right now. It’s a great initiative, I see a lot of people are
joining the movement that 4Ocean has created and people are very excited and
hyped up to clean up the ocean and coastlines. So currently 4Ocean is
implementing systems where on a daily basis they’re collecting trash. There’s a
lot of people that don’t get the opportunity to find jobs and 4Ocean is creating hundreds
of jobs by doing what they’re doing right now. I was born and
raised in Haiti and I was fortunate to have the chance to travel and see other
countries, and it always bothered me to see how Haiti, my home country –
the amount of trash just everywhere, and I have dedicated myself to
making a difference.

  1. I’m so excited I just bought the polar bear bracelet the blue bracelet the shark bracelet and the limited edition fish bracelet. At once. I love animals and our oceans so I’m happy I could help. Keep up the good work!

  2. Hey, guys, thanks for the help! But, would it be possible for you to make a video on how to clean the bracelets without ruining them? I have 4, but my oldest one is looking a little ratty. Thanks!
